…That friends are unnecessary.
Partly because I’ve gone this long without someone to confide in and comfort me, someone who relies on me or holds my opinion as something of value, or someone to purely enjoy the good times with; but, mostly because I’ve realized a lot of people really fucking suck. And unless you’re brutally honest with yourself in examining other’s actions, it’s beyond easy to get fucked over and used time and time again.
